The Chäng people live on the eastern coast of Ibabaw. They are a sedentary people with a mostly vegetarian diet. Their towns are usually about 100 large.
Chäng kinship is divided into 4 moieties: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Spring may marry Summer and Winter, but not Fall, Summer may marry, Spring and Fall, but not Winter, and so on. The children's moiety is determined by when he was born.
